Welcome to Tam High 7 Continents! We are a group of high school students who come from all over the world and speak all kinds of different languages. Each of our group members have come together as a team to help students at Tamalpais High School who are struggling academically, socially or struggling with life outside of school. Most of our members and leaders in our group have families and friends in other countries that they had to leave behind for a new life here. We all understand the struggle of changing schools, changing friends, and feeling out of place in a new community. The 7 Continents group’s goal is to give a helping hand to new students at Tam High who are looking to become part of a bigger family of friends! Our group also wants to give a helping hand to new students or regular students who are struggling in school and outside of school. Some problems students face in school is, not making new friend or being shy to make new friends, falling behind on school work, struggling to understand the material and maybe speaking a different languages. If English is or isn’t your first language, there is no worry, everyone is welcome! Each of our group members speaks more than one language; some examples of languages spoken in our group are Spanish, German, Arabic, Mongolian, Mandarin (Chinese), French, Farsi and many more! We also offer homework help for all subjects and extra helping learning English. Some problems students face outside of school is, getting help with finding information about jobs, colleges, cars and driving, tests and exams, fun activities and many more! Our group members have traveled around Marin County and the local cities and have found many opportunies for jobs and fun activities in which we will gladly share with our new group members wanting to join.
