Maroroni Water Project—MAWAP is an organization that started as an idea by three people who are Wilhelm F. Gidabuday (late), Pablo Vigil, and Eva Baltazar Gidabuday, who live in Maroroni. The idea started in June 2024 in the Maroroni area after the three experienced the hardship of carrying their own water for regular usage and sometimes waiting in long queues for many hours just to get those few buckets of water and sometimes not getting it at all.
