The Lady Lions who SERVE the citizens and charities in Lee County + Lions Club International 🦁 In 1987, Lions opened its doors to women.

On August 5, 1987, the Giddings New Horizons Lions Club was the second women's club to be chartered by Lions International with 37 members from the Lee County Area. The club has since grown to around 70 members. Meetings are at 12 noon on the first and third Wednesday of every month. Local and club issues are discussed along with an informative and enjoyable program by a variety of speakers from the community and Lions Club Charities.

We had an awesome meeting today learning about the Texas Lions Eyeglass Recycling Center from local Lion Jeff Urban!

He gave us some great information on how the program works, what they do and don't take, how they can utilize broken eyeglasses, and so much more!

LCIF is a trusted source to donate towards disaster relief and trust that it gets to the people who need it most.

If you would like to help on a local level, there is a collection drive for greatly needed items on the ground - canned food, medical supplies, toilet paper, formula, first aid, etc.
