We are so excited to see our direct support professionals stepping in for a creative collaboration for an ongoing project with program participant, Tonichelle.

As the host of “Toni’s Cooking Show,” Tonichelle hosts a live mock cooking show in front of her peers, combining entertainment, connection and a whole lot of culinary-themed fun. In fact, she’s is already planning her next show, presenting a tutorial of how to make tacos.

Hawaii Pacific University OT students recently led participants in interactive groups. From rock painting, creating collages and making beaded keychains the groups focused on practicing hand-eye coordination, communication and emotional awareness. Everyone not only had a blast creating, they helped build essential social skills at the same time. 🎨✨
