WOVEN would like to wish you a Happy Earth Day🌍

Today, we celebrate our founder whose art and advocacy models the values WOVEN represents: peace and environmental sustainability. She recently joined the MEM program at where she will continue to develop her practice!
i.c.e_team also offers two prompts for growth in our nurturing community! Students were asked to share a goal they had and pledge to commit to working towards it throughout the spring season.

Our Earth Day prompt is: How can I make the world a better place? Swipe and check out some of our student responses from grades 9-12, and leave your own in the comments!

Our thoughts are with family and friends of Dariel Vazquez, who was an abiding light and a spirited presence in circles led by the NICE Program at Ramapo High School. Vazquez, a recent graduate, died while heroically fighting a wildfire caused by climate change with the National Park Service in Greenwood Lake, NY. He will be dearly missed by our community.

A funeral service for 18-year-old Dariel Vasquez was held Monday morning in Haverstraw at St. Peters Church. The 18-year-old worked with the state Parks and died earlier this month helping to contain the w ildfire in Greenwood Lake.

A reminder that Elements of Being is on view to the public through Nov 24, 2024 at at Palazzo Bembo, Room 18A, Riva del Carbon, 4795, San Marco. Entry is free, closed Tuesdays.
