¤ Teachers, child care providers, elderly care, special education therapy, anyone looking for items for projects, neighbor to neighbor is there for you ♡
¤ first home/apartment , no home goods? But just spent thousands on security deposits first and lasts months rent ....Neighbor to Neighbor is there for u ♡
¤ unexpected home repair and want to DIY but dont have the tools u need and cant afford to buy or rent it....neighbor to neighbor is there for u ♡
¤ newly seperated, starting over?...neighbor to neighbor is here! ♡
Outgrew all ur babies clothes toys car seats but can't keep up with the demand of growing like a weed...neighbor to neighbor is here! ♡
The list can go on and on...and most these if not all are examples I've personally been in and know that everyone at one point or another is in need. And for that reason I started neighbor to neighbor ♡ we take any and all donations, we can up-cycle most everything and even items like nick nack shelves can be used as diaper stands, dish stands, storage cabbies etc...we can use everything ♡ so from our neighbor to yours...we are here ♡
for donations we ask that u keep the following in mind.
1: u CANNOT have a friend, of a friend, of a friend, message us... we really need to hear from people directly, if they do not have fb, we can call them, if they do not have a phone, we can go meet them...this keeps our "imaginary people" count down lol and makes our donation record keeping easier.
2: we cannot hold items, if u have more then one request, we will make arrangements to get each item to you as they become available, there's no telling how long it will take to gather everything, and our storage unit is full!
3: we now have a lengthy wait list going for a few items so we would like to extend the idea that we need an even balance between donations and requests...
4: most important of reminders, we are getting new members daily to this project and would like to restate what makes us so unique here at neighbor to neighbor...we kindly ask that any donated items be sent back to us to re donate, such a baby items for example. ..when ur child out grows their 0-3 months clothes that we donated, please send all gently used clothes BACK TO US...so we can redonate them...baby items like strollers, cribs, shoes, diaper bags etc...those who have issues with this do not need to reach out to us ♡
5: We will try the best we can to schedule deliveries for people unable to pick items up, but we ask that if u are able to meet us, let us know ♡ we deliver on Monday Wednesday and Friday ONLY. we Pick up Donations on Tuesday Thursday and Saturday by appointment Only.
6: we will be checking donations of any kind that are electronic, such as televisions, appliances (dryers, microwaves, washers etc) to make sure they still work before leaving with them this assures us that we are not picking up people's broken and unwanted items. ..we ARE NOT A FREE DUMP SERVICE.
7:if u are a no show upon pick up, without any notice to us, you will be bumped down to the bottom of the wait list..if it happens twice, u are banned from this page and taken off the wait list all together.
8:lastly, I just want to remind everyone again, that we are not a tax deductible donation non profit organization, we have not yet met the requirements to file with the IRS and will be doing fundraising to gather the money to do so...when we do, we will scream it from the mountain tops so everyone is aware of our big day ♡
