Threshold promotes vibrancy in theater and in the community by bringing new playwrights, new works and new interpretations of classics to the stage, incorporating as many local artists as possible. There is an ur

gent need to ensure contemporary works and creative redefinitions exist outside of NY, Chicago and LA. Poised just north of one of America's most treasured art hubs, and recently rated the best place in America to film for television or cinema, Albuquerque has all the resources necessary to become a destination for theater as well. By involving the entire community and bringing boundary-testing theater to New Mexico, Threshold hopes to manifest great change in the way we define theater and bring this city into a better space for critical and creative thinking.
