🌟 Celebrating International Women's Day with "Grafts For Social Change"! 🌹 Yesterday , This is a highlight of our project's goals done by our partner from Bulgaria. Theodore (who was a participant) shared an inspiring story from a Youth Exchange in Malta -crafts for social change- showcasing the power of appreciation and creativity. Upbeat Music House held the 1st Malta African Festival of Arts MAFA in May 2023. The festival was made possible through funding provided by the MCVS through the VOPS program.

The festival covered a period of 5 exciting and action packed days. These were the African fashion day, the African movie day, African dance, Africa Day dinner and the music concert.
The buzz that the festival caused is an evidence to excitememnt and need to repeat the festival on a yearly basis. Upbeat Music House is looking for partners to make the dream of holding the festival yearly a reality.

Please reach us on [email protected]

The project officially ends today and would like to thank the funding Authority, our staff and volunteers, the Fashion designers, musicians , photographers and everyone who made the festival a great success.
