At VENTURE OPERA we create approachable, modern opera of the highest quality in places where opera has not existed before. We perform installation opera throughout New York City in venues that enhance our artistic vision. Venture opera has grown from a small group of independent artists into a bold opera company. We are dedicated to acquiring the best directors, newest stars, and finest production team to launch us into the future of opera. We are also committed to nurturing the careers of the next leaders and performers in the opera world. Our Young Artists Program is designed to prepare classically trained singers for main stage roles, as well as offer concert performances and scene work in New York City. It is our responsibility as the next generation of opera to engage new, younger audiences. Our unique combination of quality production and modest ticket prices allow us to do just that.
