If you are reading this post it is no accident. God directed you here. He wants you to know that we need to complete the school by adding the 12th grade this year. To do this we need $15,000. School starts in late September so time is running out. Please pray about what God will lead you to give. You can go to the website and give. You can contact Jacob Wilson or June Krout Reeves. Don’t give expecting a blessing but know in giving God will bless you.

Thank you to all of you who faithfully and generously give to keep our school functioning well as we educate children in Haiti. The kindergarten window got a new coat of paint and inside our students are learning all kinds of fun things. Praise the Lord for His care of these beautiful kids! ❤️

We are so proud of each of our students! Here’s a letter from Charles to all of you sharing his beautiful story with HCH and his thankfulness for your faithful support…

My name is CHARLES Jamesley, I am 15 years old, I am in the ninth grade of HCHO and I am one of the students who enjoy the privileges that this organization provides today.

I joined the educational program of this organization in 2016 (a year after it was founded).

After a few years in school, I learned a few things such as;

• MUSIC
• ARTISTIC AND AESTHETIC COURSES
• AGRICULTURAL TECHNIQUES

In the music course, I am learning to play several instruments such as;

• RECORDER FLUTE: It was the first instrument I learned to play in the year 2021-2022.

• TRANSVERSE FLUTE: It was the second instrument I learned to play in the year 2023-2024.

• SAXOPHONE: It is the third instrument I learned to play and until now I continue to perform on this instrument. It is the instrument of my heart.

I AM PROUD BECAUSE HCH EMPLOYS COMPETENT PROFESSIONALS TO TEACH US. THIS IS ONE OF THE REASONS I BELIEVE I AM ON THE ROAD TO REALIZING MY DREAM

Although the art and aesthetics course is a subject taught at school, I consider it like a profession because I have a passion for art. It allows me to develop several abilities that were dormant in me such as:

• Know how to make very good signs (boards or posters).

• Know how to draw very well (visual or imaginary).

• Make toys for children (cars, motorcycles, houses, etc.)

I learned agronomic techniques so that I could serve my community with the following goals;

• To protect the environment,
• Improve the population's agriculture,
• Raise animals in the environment (especially goats).

This allowed me to have more means that I can use to make money, all thanks to HCHO. I graduated from (IFOSuD/Organization that became the blood project organization HCHO) after 4 years of study (October 2020-October 2024).

-Most of my professions, I have not yet used to make money but, I just practice to stay in adoption. But among them I provide HCH and my church services (music). I play Keyboard in the children church. I worked to be more professional so I can play for God in the big church.

HCHO has made a big impact in my life because thanks to these professions many people value me. I’m a poor boy, in the past people gave me several bad names and made bad comment about me because of my family vulnerability. But now, they see in another perspective as a talented young boy who have a good future.

Thanks to all these professions I am really happy because they will help me realize my most cherished dreams (an entrepreneur, a great orthopedic surgeon, becoming a great painter, becoming a good musician) so in return I can help HCHO, my country, my family, the community.

I want to say thank you to all the people who support this organization, my teachers and all the HCHO leaders.

I thank you because without your support I would not be proud, I would still be in the dark, I would never have been able to start dreaming and prepare to live my dreams.

Thank you to the HCHO leaders and supporters.
Charles

A story from one of our students who is doing beautiful things in Haiti. ❤️

In life,
there are days that do not last,
there are days that are never forgotten.
January 12, 2010 brought hardships to us,
our hearts were saddened, our minds were troubled.

It was in this context that the Bersony family would gather with the youth of the Neighborhood, to pray together, sing and learn the word of God.
So, I, James RICHARD, began to frequent the other side (the space),
To go sing, pray, and learn the word of God.

During these times, each time we gather, the Bersony family always makes a way for us to eat a piece of bread and drink a bag of water.
So we move forward, learning verses and listening to the word of God without having the intention of becoming Christians.
As the days go by, the assembly grows, more youth come to frequent the space,
and the word of God continues to spread.

In 2012, the club grew like a small flower that found good dew,
the club left Bersony's house, and went up to the mountain above the mountain.
Did James RICHARD also quit the club?
We did not neglect to attend the meetings,
the lessons were animated, the debates were heated.
There were monitors who marked us,
their names I cannot forget to mention:
Daniel, Jeff who was teaching us the word.
Without delay, we went straight to the monitor JEAN BAPTISTE,
who was treating many beautiful and interesting topics such as: How does God see my environment?
The work is progressing, classes are animated, debates are being held, we are learning the word of God.

There is another day that brings mourning, sadness on our faces,
the day were our teacher JEAN BAPTISTE was died.
We lost a few Saturdays of the club, but we did not give up. MILORD came to continue the lessons and teach us the word.

Every day we progress more and more.
Without delay, an idea came to the minds of the HCHO staff,
they set up a Christmas contest call Nwel lakay/ Christmas at home,
it was my first time writing a poem,
it was quite an atmosphere, and I came third in this contest, and they gave me a prize that is
very valuable in my eyes: I can name one, an English dictionary.

We are moving forward, the lessons are spreading, the word is spreading.
We have BAPTISTE teaching lessons,
and we are more and more anchored in the word.
But, there are two (2) lessons that stood out to me the most: 1_How did the Bible come to us?
How to respond to skeptics?

By listening carefully, I came across words that touched my heart.
I didn't waste time, on Sunday Pastor Jimmy prayed for me, I accepted
Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior.
Other classmates called me a little pastor, but I never gave up.
I didn't take long to get baptized,
so I'm advancing in the word and becoming stronger.

I came to take other HCHO training and became an assistant monitor.
So until now we are helping children behind In this knowledge we took from HCHO
by giving advice to others,
sharing training with them,
and giving them other necessary support. Because my dream was always to see myself sharing with HCHO all that I learned in the organization (HCHO) and sharing all that I learned in my other studies, so that the institution grows more every day and can fulfill its mission.

On my way to HCHO, there are people who have touch me a lot: Fafane/ Guimps
ANTOINE/ MILORD / Sony JEAN BAPTISTE/Lionel JOSEPH (my former monitor in).

With HCHO influence, I discover the feeling of learning. HCHO give me a passion to serve Christ. I m a student at the state university.
I have finished my second year of law study at State University (Ecole de droits). I will be going to my third year when school opens. I am on vacation for law study now.
I am in my first year of ENS (ÉCOLE NORMALE SUPERIOR) with the state university.
