Smiling Creatives is a small art and design project based in Cambodia — sharing simple, happy moments of creativity inspired by everyday life. We believe art doesn’t need to be perfect — it just needs to make you smile. From handmade objects and playful ideas to community storytelling, everything we do celebrates imagination and connection. Our curious mascot Swa Jrolerm,

the monkey of creativity, invites everyone to join in — to make, laugh, and create something new together. A home for creativity, joy, and small stories that grow.

វត្តអធ្វា គឺជាប្រាសាទសម័យអង្គរ ដែលសាងសង់ដោយព្រះបាទសូរ្យវរ្ម័នទី២ នៅពាក់កណ្តាលសតវត្សរ៍ទី១២។ ប្រាសាទនេះមានទីតាំងស្ថិតនៅខាងលិចទន្លេសៀមរាប ចម្ងាយប្រហែល ១គីឡូម៉ែត្រ (០.៦ម៉ាយ) ក្នុងឃុំសៀមរាប ក្រុងសៀមរាប (ប្រហែល ៤គីឡូម៉ែត្រ (២.៥ម៉ាយ) ពីទីរួមខេត្ត នៅលើផ្លូវទៅកាន់ភ្នំក្រោម) បែរមុខទៅទិសខាងលិចដូចអង្គរវត្ត។

ស្ថាបត្យកម្ម និងប្រវត្តិសាស្ត្រ សាងសង់ពីថ្មភក់លើវេទិការាងការ៉េរាបស្មើ ដែលមានប៉មកណ្តាល។ បែរមុខទៅទិសខាងលិច មានច្រកចូលគ្រប់ទិសទាំងបួន។ ដើមឡើយសាងសង់ជាប្រាសាទហិណ្ឌូ (ព្រះវិស្ណុ)។ នៅចុងសតវត្សរ៍ទី១២ និងនៅសតវត្សរ៍ទី១៦ ដល់ទី១៧ ប្រាសាទនេះត្រូវបានប្តូរទៅជាព្រះពុទ្ធសាសនា។

Dany on the Re Explorers trip to Wat Athvea Temple!!

Wat Athvea is an Angkor-era temple built by King Suryavarman II in the mid-12th century. The temple is located west of the Siem Reap River, about 1 km (0.6 mi) in Siem Reap commune, Siem Reap city (about 4 km (2.5 mi) from the provincial capital, on the road to Phnom Krom), facing west like Angkor Wat.

Architecture and history Built of sandstone on a flat, square-shaped platform with a central tower. Facing west, with entrances in all four directions. Originally built as a Hindu temple (Vishnu). In the late 12th century and in the 16th to 17th centuries, the temple was converted to Buddhism.
