RESET Caribbean Foundation is to break away from business as usual and restore entrepreneurial
success through education and technology ii. iii.

RESET’s mission is to break away from business as usual and restore entrepreneurial success through education and technology, one community at a time. We seek to build localized frameworks for improving the viability and sustainability of for-profit and not-for-profit enterprises, as we engage stakeholders in a collaborative interface of civil society, private sector entities, development agencies, governments, and academia.

RESET envisions more economically inclusive societies comprised of ordinary citizens who are highly motivated enterprising individuals working to build up their communities while preserving their environment for the equal benefit of present and future generations. This will be achieved by:
1. Promoting sustainable enterprise with equal regard for the value of social, cultural, economic and environmental dimensions.
2. Collaborating with disciplined and diligent partners to establish and maintain a comprehensive education and training network for micro and small enterprise leaders that incorporates face-to-face as well as web-based platforms for the delivery of programs and services.
3. Providing enterprise intervention services that facilitate:
i. the growth of the leaders’ capacities for self-help and systems of inter-dependence. access to appropriate technologies. access to financing.
4. Reducing fragmentation and information asymmetry among all stakeholders by establishing an online system that gathers, organizes, analyzes, and presents basic information necessary to meet the sustainability goals of our micro and small enterprise ecosystem. Our initial thematic focus is on: (i) edification (psychological and behavioural change), (ii) foundational enterprise education, training and certification, (iii) integration of informal enterprises into the formal economic system.
