We turned our loss into power. 💜

The Tatissa Foundation was born from unimaginable loss—but we made a choice: our pain would have purpose.

Today, we turn lived experience into action through su***de prevention, LOSS Team postvention support, peer support, QPR training, youth and community engagement, advocacy, and awareness.

September may be Su***de Prevention Month, but people struggle in October. They struggle in January. They struggle on ordinary Tuesdays when no awareness ribbon is being worn.

That’s why our work doesn’t end when September does.

Every month matters. Every conversation matters. Every life matters.

We will keep showing up—turning loss into connection, pain into purpose, and hope into action.

If you or someone you know is struggling, call or text 988 to reach the Su***de & Crisis Lifeline. You don’t have to face a crisis alone.

🍂 Hello, October — A Month for Awareness, Understanding & Connection 💚

October reminds us that mental health touches every family, every community, and every walk of life.

This month, we recognize ADHD Awareness Month, Depression Awareness Month, Mental Illness Awareness Week, World Mental Health Day, OCD Awareness Week, and Pregnancy & Infant Loss Awareness Month.

But awareness is more than recognizing a date on the calendar. It’s checking in. It’s listening without judgment. It’s learning. It’s speaking up. And sometimes, it’s simply reminding someone: “You don’t have to go through this alone.”

At The Tatissa Foundation, we believe that connection can be the beginning of hope. 💚

This October, reach out to someone. Start a conversation. Be present. You never know how much it may mean.

Sometimes, su***de prevention starts with the simplest things: checking in, listening, asking twice, showing up, and letting someone know they’re not alone. 💚

A small act of care can make a meaningful difference. Keep checking in. Keep listening. Keep talking about mental health.
