Leukemia Cup Regatta and Pig Roast at Larchmont Yacht Club The Larchmont Yacht Club Leukemia Cup Regatta started in 2011 in the memory of Capt. Scott T Seaver who lost his battle with leukemia the year before.

Sailors and non-sailors help raise funds for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. The Leukemia Cup Regatta is a thrilling sailing event that combines the joy of boating with the important task of raising money to fight leukemia, lymphoma and other blood cancers. The Leukemia Cup Regatta is supported by the national office of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Sailors register their boats and recruit their friends and colleagues to help raise funds. The sailors seek donations from friends, family, business associates, co-workers and employers to sponsor their boat. A highlight of the weekend event is the Gala on Saturaday night. The evening is filled with great food, live music and a fantastic auction to keep the fundraising going. Awards are also handed out to the top fundraisiers as well as the regatta winners at the Gala.
