Sussex Oakleaf - North Wealden Community Wellbeing Service

Sussex Oakleaf is a social enterprise (an Industrial & Provident Society with charitable status) that delivers services across Sussex to people who have mental health needs and to people at risk of homelessness. Sussex Oakleaf first began providing services in 1995 and has developed the provision of a wide range of community, residential and housing support services and training to others.

General information

North Wealden Community Wellbeing Service based in Uckfield provides a safe space for those with mental health needs offering social groups, activities and workshops in a supportive environment. Spread over the week, we offer social groups in Uckfield, Crowborough and Mayfield as well as Arts and Crafts, a Ladies Group and an Allotment group. We work in partnership with local colleges and partner organisations to offer courses such as confidence and wellbeing, WRAP and Peer Support Training as well as creative and independent living course such as budgeting and healthy eating. We also offer one to one support planning using the 'Recovery Star' to help our members improve their wellbeing and to work towards their goals. Our key philosophies are that of recovery, community integration and helping our members regain their independence.
