CLUB PHILOSOPHIES

Player Development: We will always put the player first and develop them in the key components of the game. Personal Development: We will always strive to look at the bigger picture and create young people who have the characteristics and traits to succeed away from the soccer field.

Club Development: We will work together as directors, coaches, players, and parents to create a club that we can be proud to be part of. On and off the field we will represent the club in the best possible way, striving to be people the local community can be proud of. Future Development: We will create a pathway and future for our players to be successful in all walks of life.

Fancy feet are built one touch at a time.

The key to becoming a confident soccer player is learning to feel comfortable with the ball at your feet. Every touch, turn and change of direction helps players develop the control and confidence they need when the game speeds up.

Keep working. Keep touching the ball. Keep building confidence.

STALLIONS IN COLLEGE SPOTLIGHT: SAMUEL LAMENDOLA

From our youth academy to the college game and back to Buffalo with our men’s NPSL team.

Samuel LaMendola grew up in our academy system as a Buffalo Stallions youth player during the Empire Buffalo era. Today, he competes at SUNY Cortland while continuing his soccer journey with the Buffalo Stallions NPSL team.

Sam’s path represents what player development is truly about: creating opportunities for players to grow, compete at higher levels and remain connected to the community that helped shape them.

We are proud to have Sam representing the Stallions at Cortland and equally proud to welcome him home each summer to compete with our NPSL team.

FALL GLA RECAP: U14 BOYS

The Buffalo Stallions U14 Boys have opened their GLA season with several impressive performances, showing growing chemistry, confidence and character.

The boys earned a dramatic victory over Flash Erie in a match featuring three lead changes, with Caden Henderson scoring the game-winner with only two minutes remaining.

They followed that with a convincing 6-2 win over Beadling FC before earning a hard-fought 2-0 victory against FC Pittsburgh. The Stallions played the entire second half with only 10 players and no substitutes, showing tremendous heart and determination. Max Nicholas was named Player of the Match after recording the shutout.

The team then delivered its most complete performance of the season in a 5-1 victory over Pittsburgh FC Gold. After conceding an early goal, the boys remained composed, controlled much of the match and created numerous scoring opportunities. Niam Rivera led the attack with a hat trick.

As a club, we are extremely proud of the commitment being shown by these players and coaches. The results are encouraging, but the continued development of the team’s confidence and belief in one another is even more exciting.

How do they all know this song?

Justin Bieber released “Baby” before some of these Buffalo Stallions were even born, but apparently every generation still knows the words.

Parents, be honest. Were you singing along too?

Apparently soccer players need more than good feet…they need perfectly timed claps too.

The Buffalo Stallions girls take on the Intuition Clap Test. Who do you think understood the assignment?

Tag the teammate you would trust to try this with you!

FALL GLA RECAP: U12 BOYS

The Buffalo Stallions U12 Boys have faced a demanding opening stretch against some of the strongest teams in their GLA division. Although the results have not always reflected the team’s overall performances, the boys have already demonstrated tremendous growth, resilience and promise.

The team opened against CAPS FC in a thrilling 8-7 match. After falling behind 8-1, the boys refused to give in. They battled their way back into the game and nearly completed an incredible comeback.

They followed that performance with a difficult match against Beadling FC. After trailing 5-0 at halftime, the Stallions continued to compete, improved throughout the second half and showed the character we expect from our players.

The boys then earned a well-deserved 1-1 draw against FC Pittsburgh before completing the opening portion of their schedule against a strong Manta United side.

Competing against quality opponents provides valuable lessons that cannot always be measured by the final score. This group is gaining important experience, responding positively to adversity and continuing to improve through training and competition.

As a club, we are proud of the players and coaches for remaining committed to the development process. The progress being made is encouraging, and we are excited to see what this team can accomplish when the GLA season resumes in the spring.

FALL GLA RECAP: U11 BOYS

The Buffalo Stallions boys teams have gotten their 2026/27 GLA season off to an exciting start, with strong performances, hard-fought matches and continued growth throughout the program.

As a club, we are extremely proud of the effort, commitment and development being shown by all our teams. Every match provides another opportunity for our players to compete, learn and grow together.

Our U11 Boys opened their season with two GLA crossover weekends in Erie, Pennsylvania, and Cleveland, Ohio, finishing with an impressive 4-0 record.

In Erie, the boys earned hard-fought victories over Spire FC, 6-5, and FC Pittsburgh, 3-2. Both matches tested their resilience and determination, but the team continued competing, pressing and moving forward through every challenge.

They carried that momentum into Cleveland, earning a 6-2 victory over Century United and a 3-2 win against Mountaineer United.

Four matches. Four victories. Most importantly, four valuable opportunities to develop, compete and grow as a team.

We are proud of the players and coaches for the way they represented the Buffalo Stallions throughout both weekends.

Built in Buffalo. Developing players for what comes next.

WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE TRAINING DRILL?

We asked some of our Buffalo Stallions girls to choose their favorite activity from training.

Calling the cone? Small-sided 2v3 and 3v2 games? Anything that ends with a chance to score?

The best training sessions challenge players to think quickly, compete, make decisions and enjoy playing the game.

Players and coaches, what drill would you choose every time? Tell us in the comments.
