Beacon of Light is a premier Dawah Centre in the South West of England and is guided by the authentic teachings of Islaam, Our Mission is to promote awareness around the Islamic faith by guiding and supporting New Muslims and providing training and information to individuals and communities. Vision
Our Vision is to provide information and knowledge to the Ummah and the wider community and to give advice dispelling misconceptions about Islaam to everyone in the UK
Who we are and what we do
Beacon of Light Foundation is a registered charity which aims to help and support New Muslims or converts to Islam, and anyone who has an interest or simply wishes to know more about this beautiful faith. This is achieved through our bookshop where we provide a wide range of authentic Islamic literature for purchase
Through our education and learning centre we are able to provide education through in-centre classes and courses designed and tailor-made for new Muslims and interested members of wider Gloucestershire community. Through our support network, we intend to achieve a centre that can cater for all social needs of new Muslims whatever their background. We have and will continue to help the members of wider society interested in the message of Islam. Our Aims and Objectives are;
• Reach out to Muslims and Non Muslims and facilitate and develop an understanding of Islam through dialogue, discussion and social interaction
• Setup a support network for new Muslims
• Impart Islamic awareness and knowledge
• Promote community cohesion and work for the good of society as a whole.
