What is Legacy Longview? Imagine a world where mature members of a community, meet periodically with younger members of a community to coach, guide and encourage to continue the pattern of leadership set by those before them. This is the goal of Legacy Longview – to create a Legacy of Leadership for Future Generations by providing a forum to effectively pass the baton. More specifically, Legacy Longview is an initiative of community leaders throughout Gregg County who desire to further equip and develop community leaders in the Longview area by providing:
• A forum to provide and receive leadership mentoring
• A forum for fostering and nurturing relationships to “pass the baton” of leadership that has already been established in Longview
• A forum for discussing issues that have significant impact on the community
• A forum for networking
• A call to action to “Go and Do” and apply what our members are learning
