We at Music Empowers Kids Foundation, offers music education programs for a variety of music genres. Over time our goal is to offer music lessons in all styles of Rock, Blues, Jazz, Country, Hip Hop and Classical Music. Deciding on what instrument a child should learn must come from the heart and soul of the individual.
Our First Objective:
The first objective of the Music Empowers Kids Foundation is to build our afterschool Music School. We are seeking a location in the City of Providence to accommodate the children who attend public school in Providence County and we are schedule to be operational in early 2014. This afterschool music education facility is designed to provide the at-risk and underprivileged children music lessons and instruments at little or no cost to the child’s family. The facility is designed to allow children to express their creativity, while interacting with likeminded students, who have a deep desire to Rock. Rock Star School is designed to engage the student in an extracurricular activity that encourages and motivates the student starting by playing their first note, to playing on stage in front of a live audience. True Rock is about expressing your heart and emotions though your instrument. One cannot truly Rock unless the student experiences the emotional interaction between the musician and their audience. The Rock and Blues School will offer your teens or pre-teens a fast track program to insure they are playing music and not just reading notes, as most music lessons programs offers. We will offer lessons for the following instruments:
Lead and Rhythm Guitar Lessons Bass Guitar lessons Drum Lessons
Keyboard / Piano lessons Vocal lessons Writing Music
In the following Music Genres: Classic Rock, Punk Rock, Metal, Alternative Rock, Indi Rock, Hard Rock, Folk Rock and Blues. In a short period of time your child will be playing music from the biggest names in music such as Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrix, Rolling Stones, Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, Nirvana, Metallica, AC/DC and many more. No added studio sound, no electronic mix, no studio sound, just pure music.
