CAST for Kids Foundation C.A.S.T. for Kids Foundation enriches the lives of children with special needs, supports their families, and strengthens communities through fishing events

Children with special needs (ages 6-18) and their caretakers come together with community volunteers for a fun day of fishing they may not otherwise experience. These events provide a refreshing break from their daily challenges. Spreading a positive message that kids with disabilities can accomplish anything, we include all children, despite their limitations. This is all made possible through national and local sponsors-people who want to make a big difference in the lives of kids with special needs thus strengthening their community. https://castforkids.org/c-a-s-t-for-kids/

The C.A.S.T. for Kids Foundation hosts over 90 events per year in over half of the United States and expands by 8 new events per year and into 2 new states per year on average. The C.A.S.T. for Kids Foundation aims for presence across the nation allowing children everywhere and of any means an opportunity to learn how to fish. Year three at Lake Conroe in Willis, Texas!

There were fish to catch, awards to celebrate, and plenty of encouragement along the way. These kids fished side by side, cheered each other on, and celebrated each other’s special moments.

That’s what makes a C.A.S.T. for Kids day so special. Thank you to everyone who helped make our third year at Lake Conroe a memorable one!

Sahuarita Lake-Sahuarita, Az was the setting for a day full of fishing, friendship, and special thrills!

Young anglers cast their lines, reeled in fish, and shared the excitement of each catch with the people cheering them on. There were new friends to meet, proud smiles to share, and medals to celebrate every participant.
