The Rummage House Non-profit organization benefiting homeless and disadvantaged students providing doors of opportunities that will lead them into a brighter future.

It is our desire to create a successful and life changing program that will carry out the mission and vision of our organization for years to come. The goal of the program is to provide valuable educational and financial resources to homeless students and underprivileged youth, so that they will have hope and the opportunity to overcome their present circumstances.

It is our desire as we grow to provide clothing subsidies, food subsidies, tutoring support, educational fees, scholarships, social activities, school supplies, and work study programs. Statistics:
In the state of Oregon alone there are approximately 21,000 children considered homeless (katu.com,2012). Since Oregon started tracking homeless students data in the 03/04 school year, the number of homeless students has grown by 122% (Katu.com, 2012). Approximately one out of every ten students in the Beaverton School District lives below the federal poverty line (Katu.com, 2012).
