New Beginnings: Foster Child Awareness Welcome to the official page for Suitcases for Sweethearts! Click the "About" icon for more information!

Knowledge of Foster Children’s lives remains imperative to our community, state, and nation. With assistance we will create awareness within the community of this issue. I have created and already begun work with the program I created; Suitcases for Sweethearts which collects donations of new or gently used suitcases, prepares with basic necessities, and distributes the suitcases for local children upon removal from the home. I wish to show that these children cannot be brushed under the rug, provide assistance for them, and to open doors to a better future for these children. My name is Emily Kunkel and I am the founder and creator of Suitcases for Sweethearts. Our Program is designed to benefit children in the community, specifically assisting children who are removed from their homes and placed into foster care. We are open to donations and are currently seeking the following items:
medium suitcases
small carry on bags
wheeled carry ons
duffel bags
backpacks/overnight bags

These items can be new or used
