🏗️✨ Who doesn't love a good competition? 🏗️✨

This week, our Explorers put their teamwork and creativity to the test in a towerbuilding showdown as they worked in teams to build the tallest tower using only marshmallows and spaghetti. They engineered some seriously impressive structures and got very competitive along the way! 😄

We love a busy weekend at 409th ⚜️

Our Cubs went to Bispham Hall Scout Estate for their camp, where 4 Cubs were invested and 1 Cub was awarded his Silver award 🏆

Our Scouts were joined by Explorers from Wythenshawe Explorer Scout Unit who were busy camping at Dunham Park Scout Camp, completing lots of badge work and having fun 🎯

And members from our Squirrel and Beaver sections went along to Wythenshawe Town Centre to take part in the remembrance service 🎖

We had a great time this weekend at Waddecar Scout Camp. Sleeping under tarps in hammocks, back to basic cooking and bushcraft with shooting and Kayaking.

Great session tonight. Really proud of the Explorers. A few weeks ago they planned their own meals and tonight prepped and executed them really well. We had...
Chicken, pepper and onion flatbreads with chips from Harvey,
Corned beef hash from Ben,
Chicken Nuggets and chips from Liam,
Spaghetti Bolognase from Ethan,
and
Carrot and Coriander soup from Nathan.

Well done guys. Very tasty
