This past week President Javalera represented SEIU6 at the AFL-CIO’s 30th Constitutional Convention. This was the first time SEIU participated since reaffiliating with the AFL-CIO. She met with other labor leaders from across our movement, and helped ensure that our Local’s work and the voices of our members were part of national conversations.
