It was a scorcher at our Newbold Pacey & Ashorne WI - Warwickshire Members July meeting 🔥- but we kept our cool with delicious refreshments (prepared by Erica) and ice creams (kindly donated by Emily).

We welcomed Graham, a volunteer from Historic Coventry Trust who gave us a fascinating and engaging talk about the grounds and work HCT are undertaking to protect our midlands heritage - it was so inspiring that we all agreed to investigate further for a summer outing! 😎

Pauline and Carol are on the case! 🧐🕵️🔍

Newbold Pacey & Ashorne WI - Warwickshire - June’s member’s meeting involved learning all about healthy living and avoiding products with huge amounts of hidden sugar! Beth Adams Health Coach highlighted the importance of reading the package info and portion size!

Obviously our delicious homemade cakes had all the good sugar ingredients 😉😋💜

In May we held our Newbold Pacey & Ashorne WI - Warwickshire annual meeting - we enjoyed reflecting on our past year’s achievements, charitable support, friendship - in addition to the opportunity to express our gratitude to the committee and all our members 💜 competition winners, homemade cakes, bubbles, hilarious Pictionary and happy winners all round! 💜

We also expressed an emotional goodbye to Trish Handsley who has been instrumental in the ongoing success of our WI, throughout the years, in many roles, most recently as our Treasurer. We wish her all the best in whatever she takes on next! 💜💜💜
