Faith With Works had the opportunity to spend an evening at First Fruits Farm helping prepare fresh produce for upcoming community distributions. 🌱💛

Last night, volunteers worked together to help prepare:
217 boxes of potatoes
220 bags of green beans

We are grateful for the opportunity to help support the work First Fruits Farm is doing to fight hunger and share fresh food with those who need it.

It was such a beautiful reminder that so much care happens behind the scenes before food ever reaches families and communities.

Join us for our next Faith’s Bread pop-up food distribution tomorrow at 1:00 PM at 1133 Penn Ave.
We’ll be providing food support for individuals and families in the community while supplies last.
🛍️ Please bring your own bags, boxes, or carts if possible so you can safely carry your items home.

Pathways to Stability is now accepting applicants on a rolling basis! 🌱
New participants will be welcomed each month, so there is no one-time deadline to apply.
This free 16-week program is designed to help individuals and families build greater stability through case management, mental wellness support, financial education, employment and resource navigation, personalized planning, and barrier-removal assistance.
Medicaid is required for participation.
If you or someone you know could benefit from extra support, we encourage you to apply, learn more, and share this post with someone who may need it. 💚

Birthing Empowered is now accepting new participants monthly 💗
This free maternal wellness program is designed to support expecting and postpartum mothers with ongoing guidance, education, emotional wellness support, and practical resources throughout pregnancy and early motherhood.
Participants may receive support such as doula communication, childbirth education, therapy, wellness coaching, monthly support groups, empowerment workshops, produce deliveries, diapers, baby clothing, mommy care baskets, transportation assistance, and eligible utility support.
Medicaid is required, and there is no single application deadline. New applicants will be reviewed and accepted each month based on eligibility and program availability.

We’re so excited to officially open registration for Birthing Empowered and Pathways to Stability! 🌸🌿
These programs were created to respond to the different needs families and individuals may face in our community by providing meaningful support, practical resources, education, encouragement, and opportunities to build greater stability and well being.
Along with program registration, sign ups are also open for our upcoming virtual Q&A sessions where you can hear more about each program and ask questions before getting started.
