St. Patrick's Day Declarations and Scriptures...

I trust in You, O Lord, for You are my refuge and my fortress.
You alone are my rock and salvation, my stronghold in times of trouble.

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding"
Proverbs 3:5-6

I arise today through a mighty strength, the invocation of the Trinity, Through belief in the Threeness,
Through confession of the Oneness of the Creator of creation.

"God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble"
Psalm 46:1

Christ with me, Christ before me, Christ behind me,
Christ in me, Christ beneath me, Christ above me,
Christ on my right, Christ on my left,
Christ when I lie down, Christ when I sit down, Christ when I arise.

"The Lord Himself goes before you and will be with you; He will never leave you nor forsake you"
Deuteronomy 31:8

Lord, send me where You will,
To speak of Your mercy,
To bring souls into Your light,
And to live as a witness of Your love.

"Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation"
Mark 16:15
"Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit” Matthew 28:19
"But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses…to the ends of the earth”
Acts 1:8

"If we are to better the future, we must disturb the present." The words of a wise woman named Catherine Booth still resonate today as we celebrate women across the globe in honor of International Women's Day. As part of Women's History Month, let's pause to recognize women who played critical roles in the history of The Salvation Army.

“If a brother or sister is without [adequate] clothing and lacks [enough] food for each day, and one of you says to them, “Go in peace [with my blessing], [keep] warm and feed yourselves,” but he does not give them the necessities for the body, what good does that do? So too, faith, if it does not have works [to back it up], is by itself dead [inoperative and ineffective].”
‭‭James‬ ‭2‬:‭15‬-‭17‬ ‭AMP‬‬

True faith is lived out through compassion & service - ACTION. It’s not just about offering kind words; it’s about stepping in to help when someone is struggling.

When we care for the needs of others, we reflect the love God has shown us. Every act of generosity, every moment of service, and every helping hand can bring hope to someone who needs it most.
Let your faith move you to action and find opportunities to serve those around you.
