🎉 Congratulations to the 2026 California Council on Science and Technology - CCST Policy Fellows! We’re especially proud to celebrate Sarah Catherine Hawthorne, PhD, Ugbad Farah, PhD, and Natalie Gehred, PhD, alumni of NSPN’s Science Policy Scholars-in-Residence Program. Natalie also participated in our Science Diplomacy Teams Program last year. We can’t wait to see the impact you’ll make. Congratulations on this well-deserved achievement!
🌟 We’re thrilled to introduce the 2026 class of CCST Science & Technology Policy Fellows! For 17 years now, California brings scientific savvy to policy solutions. This prestigious program places PhD-level scientists, engineers, and social scientists in California’s Legislative and Executive Branch offices.
Over the next year, these talented individuals will spend a year bridging the gap between science and policy—gaining hands-on training in public service while equipping California’s policymakers with expert, science-informed support.
Curious where they’re making an impact?
