1. CannaMommy is a non-profit in Colorado helping to provide education by giving free lectures, informational pamphlets, and slideshows. Additionally by utilizing social media channels and the corporation’s website to provide anecdotal stories, photos, and other related data on Cannabis as medicine, Cannabis Culture, and Cannabis education. Our programs include; sending out advocates to raise social consciousness about the cause on a local and global level, as well as holding fundraising events in order to provide immediate relief and assistance to those suffering as “Cannabis Refugees” in Colorado. The great influx of families with Terminal Children or Adults has put a great strain on communities in Colorado. CannaMommy hopes to ease some of this burden by implementing programs for Organic Gardens, both food & Cannabis, teaching people how to be self-sustainable through organic farming & by feeding these families from our & Refugee Garden. 2. What does your urban organic agriculture project do for your community? “The & Refugee Garden” will help to feed the great influx of families moving to our community for Safe Access with good quality produce & fruits. Many of our Health Fragile children & family members cannot consume GMO foods & the cost of purchasing Organic foods in a store is just more than most can afford after relocation across the country. This Garden will serve more than 200 families each year with free healthy options for their children as well as classes on how to organically farm & day shops to come spend the day with the crops lending a helping hand! 3. How will the $15,000 grant help your organization further your support for your community? * This grant would help CannaMommy to ensure that the Cannabis Refugee families in Colorado, & the children fighting terminal illness with natural foods & herbs ( ) will have access to organic produce for years to come. As well as a providing place to learn self-sustainable gardening. This grant would enable us to get the proper equipment needed to plow & sow a much bigger garden & to keep our dream growing bigger each year!!
