Yesterday's Supreme Court decision involving Roundup doesn't change our mission.
For more than 20 years, Less Cancer has worked to reduce unnecessary and preventable harm through evidence-based research, education, and prevention. Public health isn't about waiting until people become patients. It's about reducing risk before disease begins.
At a time when millions of Americans are struggling to access healthcare, we should also be strengthening—not weakening—the protections that help prevent disease in the first place.
This isn't just about one product or one court decision.
It's about the kind of country we want to build.
A healthier America begins with science, evidence, prevention, and policies that put people first.

Less Cancer was founded in rural Virginia with a simple belief: where you live should not determine how healthy you can be.
Our work began locally, listening to communities, families, healthcare professionals, teachers, and caregivers who wanted better access to trusted public health education and prevention resources. That local commitment still drives everything we do today.
What starts in communities like ours often reaches far beyond them.
From Northern Virginia and the Piedmont, Less Cancer helped launch national conversations around prevention, public health, environmental risk, and healthier living. We founded National Cancer Prevention Day, helped create the Congressional Bipartisan Cancer Prevention Caucus, developed nationally recognized workshops, and continue to bring together physicians, scientists, nurses, educators, and communities to focus on prevention and public health solutions.
But our heart remains local.
