Please help get the word out! The submissions platform for the 2026 IEEE WIE Scholarship applications is now open and will be accepting applications through 8 November 2026, at 11:59 PM EDT!
The following two scholarships are available and can be be applied for using their respective links below:
IEEE Frances B. Hugle Scholarship: Available to IEEE Student Members attending a university or college within the United States (Regions 1-6 only). https://wie.ieee.org/grants-scholarships/frances-b-hugle/
IEEE WIE International Scholarship: Available to IEEE WIE Student Members in all regions (1 - 10) who are in at least their second consecutive year of WIE membership. https://wie.ieee.org/grants-scholarships/international-scholarship/
Both scholarships require applicants to have completed at least two years of undergraduate study in an accredited engineering program with a minimum GPA of 3.7 on a 4.0 scale. Additionally, all applications require submitting a two-part personal essay and two letters of recommendation (one academic and one personal).
The amount for each scholarship is US$2,500.
