Bill Richardson – Gone Home
It is with deepest sympathy that we inform the Scout Brigade of Fort George of the passing of Bill Richardson over the weekend.
Bill was a long-time member of the Scout Brigade of Fort George and was part of the original subcamp team for the Royal Newfoundland Regiment Subcamp. He served first as a Captain and later as a Major with the 1st Company, Royal Newfoundland Regiment. In later years, he continued to support Scouting through his work with Brigade.
Bill's generosity, dedication, and sense of humour—even under pressure—will be sorely missed. He was a valued friend of Scouting, and his contributions to the Brigade and to countless Scouts over the years will not be forgotten.
Our thoughts and condolences are with Bill's family and friends during this difficult time.
