We would sincerely like to thank Eamon Ryan (and family) for their kindness in selecting us as one of their chosen charities in his recent tractor run and dance.
Eamon presented us with a cheque of €2520 - these funds are so appreciated and will be so beneficial for many many people .

🌺 There is a great energy around Elphin Tidy Towns - a wonderful pursuit to give your time to, (on a regular or irregular basis, they welcome everyone at any time ) . They meet up every Saturday morning , join their page for all their info .
Not only is this a wonderful organisation , it is also wonderful for your mental health 🌺

A wonderful organisation to involve yourself with for improved Mental Wellbeing .

Elphin Tidy Towns
Great work tonight from our wonderful, hard working volunteers. Our group is growing and we welcome everyone to plant, sweep, water, collect sweepings. No experience needed. All you need is a pride of place, pride in our town and a desire to help.

Most of the planters have been sorted but need regular watering and deadheading. Patrick and Cathal and KellyAnn did trojan sweeping around the church and carpark areas, while Mags and Deirdre watered planters and planted the big container at the Cathedral Green.

We hope to meet weekly for an hour to keep the momentum going.

Who gave very generous donations on the weekends of Sunday 29th of June and 12th &13th of July to our Church Gate Collections.

€224 , €128.20, €303.25, €135.00, was collected respectively from your generosity .

This is invaluable in keeping our FREE COUNSELLING service available to whoever needs it in our local parishes, villages and towns .

In the event of you or anyone you know needing some anonymous counselling , please reach out to us at SOS Elphin . This facility is available to YOU ALL .

It is a free, confidential and anonymous service .
Should you require this service ? PLEASE NOTE THIS IS NOT AN EMERGENCY SERVICE .
Please attend your local GP/Medical Practitioner , allow them to asses your needs , and should our counselling service suit your needs - please get them to write a referral letter for you with your phone number and email address contained therein , place that referral in a sealed envelope, and then place it into another envelope addressed to SOS ELPHIN , C/O The Health Centre, Chapel St., Elphin , Co. Roscommon.
