This is a rare image of the buried Sphinx from 1880s. It is one of the earliest known photographs. The Sphinx remained buried to this level or higher for 1000s of years.

THIS IS HOW SENSELESS AND ROTTEN THE SYSTEM IS: ZAHI HAWAS CREATING THE NEW GENERATION OF "PYRAMIDIOTS"!! Why are independent researchers not given full access to certain well-kept secret locations at the Giza Pyramids? We, the public, question whether the Egyptian Antiquities Authority/Supreme Council of Antiquities (SCA) 's main interests are the discovery, study, and preservation of the Ancient Egyptian Civilisation, or actually becoming a profit-driven business focused on revenue generation? This video with Mr Beast & friends is the most Ridiculous and Ludicrous possible, a shame to the memory of the Ancient Egyptians. Nobody can camp during the day/night, climb, or touch anything at Giza or Ancient Egyptian sites, nor even swim in the waters of the Osiris shaft!! Except that for someone with huge pockets, who could pay the monstrous fees. No other than Mr Beast (No. 1 YT in the world) has paid Hawas and the Egyptian authorities; this group could have used the Giza site almost as an open toilet if they wanted. Having the green light to do anything stupid, like bringing in quads and helicopters to make this awful 10-minute video, could ONLY have happened because of the huge fee paid. During my several visits to Egypt, it was sad and outrageous to see huge amounts of garbage littering the place with no cleaning teams, and the poor conditions and salaries of all the staff dedicated to the security, surveillance, and maintenance of these marvellous sites. Not even mentioned the pathetic and appalling condition of all the animals used cruelly to gather tourists, and the hundreds of abandoned, starving dogs and cats, well revered by ancients and totally neglected by the very wealthy Egyptian Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities. Frankly, SHAME ON YOU!! Share it if you agree!!
