🏉 ROUND 1 – ANZAC ROUND WRAP 🏉

What a fantastic way to kick off the 2026 season 💚🖤

Round 1 had it all a home game to start, a great turnout, and an amazing atmosphere around the club all weekend. It was awesome to see some of our Youth players step up and pull on the umpire uniform, helping out across multiple games.

A big welcome to all our Auskickers, especially our new Pre-Primary players, along with our returning and new Year 1 and 2s you all looked fantastic in your polos, socks, and shorts! We also saw four home games for our Mods, and a special milestone for our Year 7s playing their first official scored games in the Youth competition plus a WIN!

ANZAC Round made it even more special, with Commanding Officer HMAS Stirling, Captain Ken Burleigh joining us, and our captains stepping up to deliver the Ode, a proud moment for the club 🌺

We’re also excited to see our first Auskick Girls Only team (PP–Year 2) up and running, led by Kim and Year 7 Vice Captain Meilah a great step forward for the club

A big thank you to all our players, committee members, coaches, volunteers, and supporters who made the weekend possible!

Bring on Round 2! 💚🖤

Great to see some more Aveley JFC players making their colts debut in the last couple of weeks. Declan Kabelka for Perth making his debut against Seth Marsden at East Perth this weekend, alongside year 11/12 team mate Zach Cameron who debuted in the previous game for Perth. I know all three have put in a significant amount of work to get to colts. Well Done boys.

🏉 Aveley JFC Jumper Presentation 2026 🏉

A fantastic night on Tuesday celebrating the season ahead and seeing all our players proudly receive their jumpers.

We were delighted to see our Life Members there as well as welcome back Coach Craig giving the boys one last season!

A special mention to Cooper 👏
Cooper is the first Aveley JFC player to come all the way through from Auskick to Year 12 football what an incredible achievement and something the whole club is proud of.💚🖤

In her first game Roxy was all class, having a big impact in the midfield and finishing up with a win in a tense game in the rain.
