Beyond Bridge is a musical celebration to benefit the Pioneer Day School of Ocean Beach.

Our intention is to honor the spirit and purpose of The Bridge School by making this a fundraiser to assist disabled and disadvantaged children. The Pioneer School (still run by its founder) is dedicated to serving students with moderate and severe special needs by providing individualized programs with an e

mphasis on community involvement and music therapy. We also tribute the tradition of The Bridge School, in respect of, and as thanks for the 30 years of music, love, and beauty it gave to all of us.

🎉 Happy Birthday to Tim “GuitarMan!” 🎸

Tim has been part of the Beyond Bridge family since the very beginning! He helps book musicians and our production team, donates guitars, and even secures amazing items for our auctions. 😍

As a talented guitarist and vocalist with Tecolote Canyon Band, Tim has rocked our stage for four years — and tonight, they’re celebrating an incredible 300 shows at The Harp! 👏🏼

Thank you, Tim, for all you do and for sharing your passion for music with our community. 💙

What an incredible day of joy and connection we shared at our 8th Annual Musical Celebration! Thank you to everyone who joined us from near and far!

Saturday was packed with excellent entertainment in celebration of the amazing community for their students, faculty, and supporters alike. Everyone’s energy made it unforgettable!

All this goodness to help fulfill their mission to ‘Support individuals with developmental disabilities to live a fulfilled life and integrate in society through innovative, community collaboration.’

We raised money for the schools thanks to so many incredible people and businesses:
(Part 1 so far raised over $2K with live auctions and our raffles at the benefit)

🎨 Artist Micah painted live all day during performances, followed by fun live auctions of his artwork
🎸TimGuitarMan donated a Yamaha acoustic guitar that was autographed by all of the musicians for another live auction
🍻Cheers to celebrating 10 years this year and has provided our Beyond Bridge merchandise every year, with proceeds towards the great cause
📸 Once again Jim Grant’s photography skills made for another fun win
⚡️ had another pop-up for a 2nd appearance this year and that also provided donations for the nonprofit

🎉All of this & more made for the best Beyond Bridge, yet!

Many thanks and so much appreciation from the Beyond Bridge family to photographer Jim Grant who has donated many of his beautiful photographs that have famous San Diego sunsets and sights. His photos have even been featured on Good Morning America, all of the local news channels (CBS, NBC and Fox) and with great excitement he mentioned one of his photos was chosen as ‘Photo Of The Year’ by the American Meteorologist Society last year.

This stunning series of sunsets was kindly donated from Jim for the Beyond Bridge raffle: “This image print is a 30 x 20 collage and was initially made for Chuck Fisher at the Ocean Beach ‘Walking On Water Café.’ It hung in the café for years and then when the café went out of business Chuck said, ‘Jim I appreciate the print, but I’m gonna give it back to you and want you to give it to somebody else in the community for good use.’ So here it is being given for a good, local cause.”

Come join us for the fun tomorrow at Beyond Bridge as we help raise money for the Pioneer Programs and their schools in Ocean Beach, CA.

According to AJ Genovese, the CEO of Pioneer Programs, “the funds will be put towards,
transportation needs and passes to different places in the community such as zoo, museums, any educational outings. We do half in classroom and half Community Based Instruction, or field trips.”

🌊 In two days come on out to see 20000 Fathoms rock out in Mission Bay Aquarius Bar and Grille 🌊

They are a San Diego rock band made up of three 13-year-olds — Leif on guitar, Casey on keys and vocals, and Luca on drums — from Correia Middle School in OB. They started playing together at 12 and have been performing at venues like The Harp, Humble Heart, and other local gigs around town. Blending their different musical influences from classic to alternative rock, reggae, and funk, they bring an energetic and unique sound to every show.
