Hey there bowlers!
Thank you again for registering for Lawn Summer Nights (LSN)! We are so excited to have you on the greens today, enjoying the great game of lawn bowling while raising crucial funds for those living with cystic fibrosis. With the event today, we wanted to pass along some final event details and reminders.
Location: Dresden Lawn Bowling Club - 303 Sydenham St #207, Dresden, ON N0P 1M0, Canada
Registration Opens: 6:00
Boston Pizza Dinner Begins: 6:15
Opening Remarks and Guest Speaker: 6:45
Tournament Begins: 7:00
LSN Dresden runs from 6:00pm to 10:30pm. Please aim to arrive promptly at 6:00pm to allow us to maximize our time on the greens.
We are excited to have DJ Eddie Hawk bringing us our music and tunes tonight!
There will be a few “for-purchase options” at LSN Chatham, including purchasing drink tickets and participating in our fundraising games. This is a CASHLESS event, we can accept debit, credit. Visa, MasterCard, American Express, JCB and Discover cards will all be accepted.
A tasty dinner will be provided at the start of the event from Boston Pizza. While we try to be mindful of dietary restrictions and allergies, we cannot guarantee that the dinner provided will meet your dietary restrictions or be free of all potential allergens (there will be one veggie cauliflower crust). If you have any questions regarding the menu or dietary restrictions accommodations, please contact me at [email protected].
Our dress code can be best described as “leisure wear” – and we keep the term pretty loose. Most teams wear coordinated outfits or costumes that match their team’s name. We’ve seen everything from dinosaur costumes (Jur-grassic Lawn) to tropical shirts (Tropical Punch Bowl) to Rolling Stone t-shirts (the Bowling Stones) – so the limit is pretty much your imagination. That being said, we do have one rule: no heels allowed on the greens (that includes wedges and low-heeled dress shoes), so make sure you wear flat-soled shoes, or you’ll be bowling barefoot.
Social tickets are being sold for Lawn Summer Nights. If you have friends who are interested in seeing what Lawn Summer Nights all is about, encourage them to buy a social ticket (includes dinner)! Social tickets are currently on sale for $25 and can be purchased HERE and at the registration table at the event!
TEAM CAPTAINS: To make check-in at our registration table run as smoothly as possible, please make sure all your teammates are registered online under your team's name. If a team member is not registered, they will be required to register at the event, taking away valuable time that could be spent on the greens enjoying ice-cold drinks!
Last minute questions? Contact me at [email protected].
Cheers!
