Re:Dance Theatre Re:Dance Theatre is defined by its commitment to the increasing appreciation and future evolution of contemporary dance in Singapore and the region.

RDT strives to be at the forefront of dance excellence and with addition to an intended repertoire for local, regional and international tours, the company would like to develop opportunities for emerging choreographers and performers. Founded by artistic director Albert Tiong in 2012, the company draws its strength from the stories within the urban city and inspiration from the human soul. There is a constant belief that dance is the heartbeat of our company carried by the dynamism of our dancers, whose contribution to the creation of new works and the art allows for more artistic development and interpretations. Our dedication to our art gives us our existence that allows us to appreciate and question all that inspires.

Essentially asian, we delve between the western culture and its influence, exploring and reflecting upon ourselves through our artistic endeavours. We envisage presenting works of a distinctive style with the incorporation of different art and media forms through collaborations with artists across the creative platform. Through our dancers’ form, thoughts, emotions and character, we hope to engage a diverse audience with our thought provoking and artistically risky human stories.
