Today, we participated in a meeting on gender justice and sexual rights and took the opportunity to engage in a discussion with b**g Sophat, senior, to share ideas and explore ways to strengthen the economic opportunities of the LGBTIQ+ community.

ពីការតស៊ូ ព្យាយាម ខំប្រឹងប្រែង រហូតបានរីកចម្រើនជាបន្តបន្ទាប់

ឌីណាជាអ្នកខេត្តបាត់ដំបង ដែលមានការតស៊ូ និងឧស្សាហ៍ព្យាយាម។ រយៈពេល១០ឆ្នាំកន្លងមកនេះគាត់មានការរីកចម្រើនជាបន្តបន្ទាប់តាមរយៈការបណ្តុះបណ្តាលចំណេះដឹង ទស្សនកិច្ចសិក្សា ការណែនាំ ការបង្ហាត់ និងការគាំទ្រហិរញ្ញវត្ថុ។

🌈 Dina’s Story

From struggle and perseverance to continuous growth and success.

Dina is from Battambang province and is known for strong determination and hard work. Over the past 10 years, she has steadily progressed through various capacity-building opportunities, including knowledge training, study visits, mentoring, coaching, and financial support.

Recently, we supported Dina in expanding her chicken farming business in Prey Dach Village, O Ta Ki Commune, Thma Koul District, Battambang Province. The support included providing 1,000 chicks and purchasing feed to help increase her monthly sales of broiler chickens from 1,000 to 2,000 chickens per month.

We are truly proud of Dina’s dedication and efforts.

This is not just about raising chickens; it is about strengthening the economic empowerment of the LGBTQ+ community, enabling individuals to build dignified and proud livelihoods, promote equality, and actively contribute to inclusive national social development.

“បទបង្ហាញលទ្ធផលស្រាវជ្រាវស្តីពី ការបើកបង្ហាញសក្តានុពល៖ អត្ថប្រយោជន៍សេដ្ឋកិច្ចនៃសមភាពអាពាហ៍ពិពាហ៍តាមច្បាប់ សម្រាប់ប្រទេសកម្ពុជា និងកិច្ចសន្ទាអំពីការបន្តនូវវឌ្ឈនភាពនៃសមភាពសិទ្ធិអ្នកស្រទ្បាញ់ភេទដូចគ្នា”។

Today, 13 February 2026, we participated in the program:
“Research Findings Presentation on Unlocking Potential: The Economic Benefits of Legal Marriage Equality for Cambodia and Dialogue on Advancing Equal Rights for Same-Sex Couples.”
The research findings show that marriage equality is not only a human right, but also contributes to economic growth, investment, and social development.
For MRC, this participation is an important opportunity to strengthen partnerships, promote economic empowerment, enhance knowledge and inclusion, and advance equal rights for the same-sex community in Cambodia.
We will continue working actively to ensure that everyone can live with dignity and equal opportunities. 🌈

Today, we conducted a field visit to Mr. Doung Sok Aun and his wife.
Their business of selling beverages and clothes in a factory is growing very well. It was exciting to see this positive progress.
