We are pleased to announce that DFWLRC will be holding our annual All-Breed health clinic on Saturday June 27th in Venus, Texas (same location as 2024 and 2025). This clinic is intended for wellness/screening exams for healthy animals. If you suspect an issue with your dog, please see your regular veterinarian. Information about a local snake avoidance training coming up

We really need one more dog to make this class happen. We had to move it back one week to May 9th due to a death in the handlers family. Please go to KranzFTG.com to sign up. Only $75 per dog- much cheaper than anti venom and an over night vet stay.

Reminder that soft-sided crates are allowed ringside but are NOT allowed in grooming spaces. DFWLRC has reserved grooming and you may leave your soft crates in the area overnight (broken down) if you’d like.

We may need some extra hands stewarding in conformation— if you are NOT entered and are available to help, please find Carrie.

The March 20th specialty is three days away— we are putting the lunch order in TODAY!! Sweeps starts at 9:15 and regular classes at 10:45– we will take a lunch break at the judges discretion. No outside food is allowed but the concession stand will be open all weekend.

DFWLRC is placing a group boxed lunch order to be delivered ringside at lunch time -- All lunches must be prepaid and no extras will be available for onsite purchase. Obedience/Rally exhibitors are welcome to order as well. You may order multiples of each type, just select the side for each box. Dressing and condiments are on the side and included in the box. If you have questions, text/PM Carrie or post here.

For those attending the specialty on Friday…..

CONSTRUCTION 🚧 ISSUE ON SHOW GROUNDS!

TOWER DRIVE, is the road between the Main building and the horse barn. It's the road to the back of the building where you unload for conformation.

When you go to turn, you are going to see CONSTRUCTION BARRIERS. Don't panic, it's just down to ONE lane going North. Turn there like always. When you leave, you'll be directed to the EXIT gate that faces the big parking lot. If you normally park in the underground garage (no oversized vehicles) take a left. If you are parking on the surface lot, take a right.

As we have never had this issue before, my suggestion is pretend you are coming to the airport AND ARRIVE WAY EARLY, as this may cause a back-up. We are trying to get the word out so folks are aware and just turn on Tower Drive as usual!
