Just being here friendly self, Ambassador Abby asked if a couple wanted their picture taken in front of the Coheed and Cambria sign before the show last night. Next thing you knew, she had a seemingly perpetual line. It was a great opportunity for us to tell the fans about our mission to Preserve the Magic. Great job, Abby and team!!!

What’s a Clean Up really like? Join us Saturday at 9:30 in the Upper North Lot. Grab a picker. Grab a friend. Go for a hike. Find trash and put it in your bucket. Find a ground score and put it in your pocket. Empty your bucket, then admire it and other’s. See you Saturday!
Big Gigantic fans, why sit in line all day Saturday? You are most welcome to lend a hand.

This fine group of folks from Johns Manville chose to spend their Global Community Day collecting trash and recycling from around the park today. We can’t thank them enough for helping us Preserve the Magic of our favorite park and venue! If your office or team is looking for a way to give back, we at Friends gladly help facilitate the event. Shout out to those who volunteer for Trail Maintenance Projects during our Monthly Clean Ups. This past Saturday these fine folk help fix some steps on Funicular Trail which connects Trading Post Road to the Upper North Lot. Gotta thank the rest of the volunteers who showed up, too! We collected 37.5 lbs or Trash, 5 lbs of recycling and the Gummy Bears scraped together 1.5 lbs of gum. See you September 26!

Who’s been thinking about their bucket? Well now is the time for you creative types and be-dazzlers to show us what you got.

The Bucket Decorating Challenge is here through September 30!

To Enter:
Email 2 pictures and/or 1 video of your decorated bucket to [email protected].
Use the email subject line: Bucket Challenge (Your Name)
After submissions close, voting will open in October on friendsofredrocks.org.
Voting will happen weekly, and all volunteers are encouraged to vote for their favorites!
The winner will be announced at our annual Volunteer Appreciation Event in November.

And yes, there are prizes! 🏆🥳
Prize #1 is a TMBR Gear swag bag, generously donated by TMBR, a sustainable sunglasses company co-founded by Friends of Red Rocks volunteer Michelle McDaid. TMBR plants trees for every pair of sunglasses sold, supporting tree-planting initiatives in the U.S. and abroad as part of its mission to make fashion a little more sustainable.
The swag bag includes one pair of TMBR Traveler polarized wooden sunglasses, valued at $75! Along with some other TMBR swag.

Prize #2 is a Colorado Themed Pet Gift Basket donated by our good friends at Two Pals & A Pup located at 2800 E 6th Ave, Denver, CO 80206. Two Pals and a Pup is a women-owned, charming pet store selling unique treats such as doggie birthday cakes and pup-corn, plus supplies & accessories. The gift basket retails at $50!
And there may be another prize on the way, so stay tuned!
