At AfrikAmiga, we believe that sport is part of education
When a child plays on a team, they learn things like:

🤝 to respect others
💪 to get back up after falling
🎯 to strive for a common goal
🌍 to feel part of something

Sport gives children a reason to attend school, supports their health, and builds their confidence
It also offers them a safe space where they can simply be children

Last week, we supported in appreciation of their perseverance and hard work
We providing sneakers for the children's soccer team

Thank you for helping us keep these children's spirits high🙏


En AfrikAmiga creemos que el deporte como parte de la educación
Cuando un niño o una niña juega en equipo, aprende valores como:

🤝 a respetar al otro
💪 a levantarse después de caer
🎯 a esforzarse por una meta común
🌍 a sentirse parte de algo

El deporte da a los niños un motivo para ir a clase, cuida su salud y les da confianza.
Y les ofrece un espacio seguro donde ser, simplemente, niños

La semana pasada apoyamos a como muestra de agradecimiento por su tesón y esfuerzo
Entregamos zapatillas para el equipo infantil de fútbol

The well we built in Engejisosia changed everything: clean water, health, hygiene, dignity.

But it will only continue to give life if we take care of it.

Last days we successfully completed two important initiatives supporting our school sports program and providing school uniforms to students⚽ 📚

While also supporting local employment and commerce📈

It was a rewarding days filled with smiles, hope, and excitement as we invested in both education and the well being of young people😉🤗

We believe that every child deserves the opportunity to learn, play, and grow with confidence🙏

Through these initiatives, we are helping create a brighter future🤍

The journey continues, thaks for be our side🤗
En los últimos días hemos llevado a cabo con éxito dos importantes iniciativas destinadas a apoyar nuestro programa deportivo escolar y a proporcionar uniformes escolares a los alumnos⚽📚

A la vez hemos apoyado el empleo y comercio local📈

Han sido unos días muy gratificantes, llenos de sonrisas, esperanza y ilusión, en los que hemos invertido tanto en la educación como en el bienestar de los jóvenes🤗😉

These past few days we've seen on social media how volunteering is trivialized and how images of minors are used carelessly 😱

And it breaks our heart, because helping isn't about that 💔 There are countries like Burkina Faso that don't allow the use of images of vulnerability

We truly believe that people's intentions are good and that nobody is born knowing everything 😞

But we learned that the real impact comes from within the community itself: in their jobs, their businesses, their dignity, and their culture 🙌

Just as you wouldn't perform open-heart surgery without being a surgeon, don't go and teach, dig a well, or build walls if it's not your area of ​​expertise 😬

And above all, don't use images of vulnerable people as if they were a shop window 🙏

At AfrikAmiga we respect and protect the image of minors, trying to be as unobtrusive as possible. Families and teachers are familiar with our work and the purpose of the photos 📷

And while supporting the right to equal education, we also promote local employment and businesses 📚 📈
