Celebrate love and inclusivity in the stunning Canadian Rockies! It attracts visitors from around the world.

This vibrant festival honours the 2SLGBTQIA+ community, offering safe spaces for everyone to feel acceptance and joy. Award-winning Jasper Pride Festival is proud to be the second-largest Pride Celebration in Alberta, the only Gay Ski Week in the Canadian Rocky Mountains and the first (and longest) running Pride Festival in a Canadian National Park taking place April every year. Since its foundati

on in 2009 and the event has grown exponentially. In 2013 a not-for profit Society was founded with the support of Jasper's business community, Tourism Jasper and the Jasper Chamber of Commerce. The Jasper Pride Festival Society has the purpose of creating an annual Pride Festival in Jasper National Park in support of the local and visiting LGBTQ2+ community. We plan, host and fundraise throughout the year to bring this festival and related events to our world-class destination in the Canadian Rockies. By doing so, the Jasper Pride Festival Society strives to create a safe and inclusive atmosphere of equality, acceptance and support for the LGBTQ2+ communities.

Community members are invited to visit the Red Dress installation along the 600 block of Patricia Street โ€” a powerful, community-led display that honours the lives lost and raises awareness of the ongoing call for justice.

The installation will be opened on May 5 at 9:00 AM with a Drum and Song led by local knowledge keeper Matricia Bauer at the corner of Hazel Avenue and Patricia Street. All are welcome to attend.

In Jasper, located along Highway 16, part of what is known as the Highway of Tears โ€” this day holds particular significance. It is an opportunity to reflect, to listen, and to stand in solidarity with Indigenous communities.

We encourage residents and visitors to take time on May 5 to learn, reflect, and honour the lives and families impacted. ๐Ÿงก

Performer applications for the 2026 Kelowna Pride Festival are open!

We are looking to feature drag, live music, dance, spoken word, and cultural performances that reflect the creativity and diversity of the 2SLGBTQ+ community!

With support from Creative BC for live music and our presenting partner , weโ€™re building a dynamic and inclusive lineup that celebrates q***r talent and brings incredible energy to the festival stage.
