While all material will be appropriate for those ages 2 through 12, older children and adults can expect to be thoroughly entertained as well.

Partnering with the Richmond Hill Centre for the Performing Arts in Old Richmond Hill, CarrotCake invites you and your family to experience a whole new level of quality, professional musical theatre for children. WHAT WE DO

With a cast of talented, adult performers, CarrotCake Theatre will ultimately present an ongoing series of popular Off-Broadway shows and original musicals in the Performing Arts Centre's Plaza Suite. More than just children's theatre, CarrotCake prides itself in presenting great theatre, from overture to final curtain.

BEHIND THE SCENES

CarrotCake Theatre Company was founded by Carrie Libling. Before relocating to the Toronto area in 2005, Carrie was Director of Family Programming for Vital Theatre Company in New York. Her responsibilities included the commissioning, directing and producing of original family musicals. In 2009, she became well known locally for staging the first Canadian production of Pinkalicious, The Musical. A mother of three, Carrie recognizes firsthand the growing need for quality entertainment for children north of Toronto. With CarrotCake Theatre, she seeks to fill the void, creating a unique opportunity for those outside the downtown core to discover the joys of live theatre.
