‎🌍 June 26 — International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking

‎Today, We join millions across the globe to mark World Drug Day 2025, under the theme:
‎“The Evidence is Clear: Invest in Prevention.”

‎As someone who has walked the path of survival — from personal struggle to advocacy — this day holds deep meaning for me. It reminds us that behind every statistic is a story, behind every headline is a human being, and behind every substance use crisis is a chance for change.

‎The message this year is simple but urgent: Prevention works.
‎Let’s stop waiting for young people to fall before we offer them a hand. Let’s build systems that protect, educate, and empower them before addiction becomes a headline or a hashtag.

‎We stand as a proud voice for evidence-based prevention, Harm Reduction and compassionate rehabilitation, and bold policy reform.

‎To our leaders: the time to act is now.
‎To our youth: you are not alone.
‎To our communities: we must be part of the solution.

REDSAI; Don't Do Drugs Outreach Bring Hope and Joy to Nigerian Correctional Service, Zing

The Reformed Drug and Substance Abuse Initiative, embarked on an incredible outreach mission to Inmates in Zing Prison. This initiative aimed to spread hope, encouragement, and awareness about the dangers of drug abuse.

The team, led by Pst. Bello Bolyam, and Shunamite Women, engaged with the inmates, listening to their stories and sharing words of encouragement. The message was clear: there is life beyond the prison walls, and the prison is not a place of condemnation, but rather a chance for reformation.

The team also organized an exciting love feast with the inmates which brought immense joy and laughter to the inmates.
