🌟 Rotary Club of Hong Kong Northeast – 42nd Anniversary Ball 🌟

📍 Held at the historic Football Club, our 42nd Anniversary Ball was a night of fellowship, joy, and unforgettable memories!!

We were honored to celebrate alongside PDGs, DGE, DGND, district officers, fellow Presidents, Rotarians, family, and friends — your presence made the evening truly meaningful.

💫 Highlights of the Celebration 💫

• 👔 Best Dressed (Male): Our youngest star, baby Branley, charmed the crowd as Son Gohan, capturing hearts with his heroic look.

• 👗 Best Dressed (Female): The enchanting Sabrina, daughter of PP John Wong, dazzled as Cardcaptor Sakura, bringing magic and elegance to the evening.

• 🎤 Thank you to PP Annyee and PP Heidi, whose grace and energy as MCs kept the program lively and seamless

• 🥋 Special appreciation to Master Wan, whose Tai Chi and Qigong performance mesmerized us with artistry and calm strength

• 🎁 Grateful thanks to our sponsors, whose generous table prizes and raffle ticket prizes added excitement and joy

• 🎟️ A heartfelt thank you to everyone who purchased raffle tickets — your support helps raise funds for next year’s services and projects, ensuring Rotary continues to make a difference. Congratulations to all the lucky winners, and a big congratulations to DGND for winning the grand final prize of HK$8,888 cash — truly a stroke of luck!

🌟 Rotary Club of Hong Kong Northeast – Serving with Heart! 🌟

This past weekend, our members joined hands with family, friends and CP and President of Rotary Club of Peninsula East to continue our meaningful tradition of 明哥派飯 — packing and distributing food for the elderly before Chinese New Year. 💖

It was a day filled with purpose and fellowship, reminding us that service above self brings joy and dignity to our community. ✨

After the volunteer service, we shared a wonderful pre-CNY fellowship at PDG Keith’s restaurant and at home of our good friend, Clive — celebrating friendship, unity, and the spirit of giving. 🎉

As we welcome the Year of the Horse, we wish everyone good health, happiness, and prosperity ahead. 🐎💫

🎄 *Spreading Love & Joy This Christmas* 🎁

On December 25th, the Rotary Club of Hong Kong Northeast joined hands with Les Beatitudes Foundation and SoCO to bring warmth, connection, and festive cheer to over 200 residents from caged homes and Wang F*k at 策誠軒.

The event was a heartfelt celebration of community and compassion, featuring:

🎶 Soulful music by Concert Sasha Handpan and the talented Bellacholic ensemble
🍱 A delicious lunch shared among friends old and new
🍮 A fun and creative egg tart decorating session
🎁 Thoughtful gift bags for every participant
💬 Lively conversations and meaningful connections

Our Rotarians were hands-on from start to finish—packing gifts, delivering meals and desserts from across the city, decorating the venue and Christmas trees, and leading group activities to ensure everyone felt seen, heard, and cared for.

We were also proud to sponsor part of the event’s expenses, including fresh fruits and a share of the lunch, to help make this gathering possible.

A huge thank you to all the volunteers, social workers, and partners who made this day so special. Together, we made spirits bright and hearts full. 💛

🎉 *A Memorable DG Visit at Our Rotary Club!* 🎉

We are thrilled to share that our recent Rotary Club meeting, graced by the official visit of our District Governor Cassy, was a resounding success! President Edwige led the session with grace and enthusiasm, presenting our club’s achievements and future goals with clarity and passion. The DG’s inspiring words and thoughtful engagement left us all energized and proud of the work we do together.

🤝 It was a wonderful opportunity to reflect on our shared mission and strengthen our commitment to service above self. Thank you to all members and guests who made the event so special!

👶 Side note that warmed everyone’s hearts: Baby Branley joined us for the meeting and was the picture of patience and joy throughout. His cheerful presence reminded us all of the importance of community, family, and the future we’re building together.

🎉 SoCO x Rotary Club of Hong Kong Northeast x KELY Support Group: Mooncake Distribution Recap – National Day 2025🏮

On October 1st, we came together to celebrate National Day not just with festivities, but with heartfelt service. In partnership with SoCO (Society for Community Organization), we distributed 480 mooncakes 🥮 to families living in subdivided flats—bringing warmth, care, and a taste of tradition to those who need it most 🥮😊

This meaningful initiative was made possible through generous contributions that also supported KELY Support Group, a youth organization committed to empowering young people (ages 14–24) through mental health awareness and wellbeing programs. A beautiful example of how one act of kindness can ripple across generations.

📍 Our Route
Starting from 官塘牛頭角道325號立成大廈, we visited 裕民大廈, 時運大廈, and 成運大廈—sharing mooncakes and smiles along the way.

Together, we turned a simple mooncake into a symbol of hope and community. Thank you all for showing up and making a difference.

*🌟 JOINT CLUB SERVICE - Mission Accomplished! 🌟*
Rotary Club of Hong Kong Northeast x Happy Valley x HK Island East

On September 14th, 3 Rotary Clubs came together at Yue Kwong Estate, Aberdeen for a day of heartfelt service and community connection. 💪❤️

🧹 Morning & Afternoon Highlights:
- Assisted multiple households with housekeeping, packing, and furniture assessments
- Delivered Mid-Autumn Festival gift bags to over 20 families, spreading festive warmth and smiles 🎁🌕

Special thanks to our dedicated volunteers—including President Lawrence, President Jasper, and President Edwige—for organizing it with energy and compassion. And to everyone who joined, including spouses and friends, your presence made all the difference!

💬 Whether lifting boxes or lifting spirits, we proved once again that Service Above Self is more than a motto—it’s a movement.

🔥🍖 Kicking off the Rotary Year in Style!🍷🎉

Our first fellowship of the Rotary year was nothing short of amazing! Members of the Rotary Club of Hong Kong Northeast gathered for a joyful BBQ celebration, filled with laughter, great food, and even better company.

A special highlight of the day was visiting adorable baby Branley, the newest member of PP Annyee and PP Brian’s family 💙. What a treat to share in their joy and welcome Branley with open arms and full hearts!

From sizzling grills to clinking glasses, the evening was a perfect blend of warmth, connection, and Rotary spirit. Here's to many more memorable moments ahead! 💛💫
