It's Concert WEEK, can you hear America Singing??

Please plan to join us on Sunday, August 23 at 4:00 pm in the Acworth United Methodist Church (4030 Collins Circle) for a concert of Patriotic Songs, Spirituals and gospels from the American experience. The choir is sounding great and we are very excited to sing for YOU!

The group is thrilled with our new director, James Cordell, and are having sooooo much fun with this collection of songs as we continue to celebrate the 250th birthday of America! It is such a privilege to live in the USA and celebrate our patriotism with this wonderful music.

Our season is off to an excellent start! Thank you to Acworth United Methodist Church for being such gracious hosts for our growing choir now in it's 20th season! It was so great to gather and sing together again with old and new friends.

The repertoire for the summer is wonderful... great selections, James! We cannot wait for next Tuesday night!

Tonight is the first rehearsal! We will have a special guest appearance by the founder of the William Baker Choral Foundation, Dr. William Baker. So make sure you arrive early to welcome him from Kansas City + welcome our new Music Director for Cobb Summer Singers, James Cordell! See ya soon!

First rehearsal is next week!

We hope to see lots of singers in our new location at Acworth United Methodist Church next Tuesday, June 9th! Our amazing new music director, James Cordell, is planning a very fun and adventurous summer of Patriotic songs, spirituals, and gospel music from the American Experience. Did someone say, Happy 250th Birthday, America!

We are getting so excited to start up Cobb Summer Singers this year (after a short hiatus) with our new director James Cordell and in a new location at Acworth United Methodist Church. Rehearsals are starting in a few short weeks on Tuesday, June 9th! Have you registered yet? Have you recruited your friends and family to sing with you? Please help us by spreading the word about this amazing opportunity to sing over the summer.
