Scarborough Boardriders Club developing the level of surfing at our local beach and to inspire the younger surfers within our comm Current membership is at approx 210 members.

Scarborough Boardriders has been established for over 25years. We are registered and insured with Surfing NSW and was originally founded to develop the level of surfing at our local beach and inspire the younger surfers within our community. We cater to surfers of all ages, both male and female and gather 11 times a year for pointscore competitions at our local beach. We also have regular social events and an annual presentation. Our club currently consists of past, present and future surf stars, (maybe even a future World Surfing Champ). We are currently developing our junior talent within the club providing a focus for the youth with mentoring from senior members of the club. We also like to support our local surfers who travel to State and National events either as a team or individually. Our club currently boasts multiple 2011 Illawarra Champion's and has numerous State Qualifiers along with many of our junior boys and girls competing individually up and down the coast with amazing results on a regular basis. In Joining Scarborough Boardriders you will be joining the most successful boardriding club of recent time in the Illawarra.

What a cracker of a day for Pointscore #9 with epic conditions all day in solid surf where every division got to express their talents.
Hands down highlight wave of the day was in our A Grade semifinal where .squiers let loose with a full rotation Air Reverse 🔄 for the ages!
Congratulations to all our winners of the voucher’s.
It’s all back on in 2 weeks time for our very last 1 for the year!

Entries are now open for Scarborough Boardriders Pointscore #9, this Sunday 18 October.

With only a couple of pointscores remaining for the year, there are still valuable points up for grabs across the divisions, so make sure you get your entry in.
Also call for all perpetual trophies 🏆 to be returned so we can get them ready for this year’s winners!

🏆 POINTSCORE #8 – URBNSURF PRESENTATION 🏄‍♂️🌊

A great turnout of Scarborough Boardriders members at the Beaches Hotel, Thirroul for the presentation of our URBNSURF Sydney Pointscore #8!

It was great to relive the day on the big screen, with videos featuring waves from all of our Top 3 placegetters in every division, along with a highlights reel of random waves from throughout the event.

Reminder that our Scarborough Boardriders URBNSURF Presentation for Pointscore No 8 is on tomorrow night, Sunday, from 5:00pm at Beaches Hotel, Thirroul.

We’ve booked the back room exclusively for the club, and it should be a great night to get everyone together and relive what was an awesome day at URBNSURF.

We’ll kick things off with a video featuring a selection of random waves from the event, followed by the presentation for the Top 3 in each division.

🏆 Prizes for 1st, 2nd & 3rd in each division
🎥 Video replay of each placegetter’s wave
🏄 Plenty of footage from the day
🍻 Back room booked exclusively for Scarborough Boardriders and their families.

And why not stick around afterwards and have dinner at Beaches with everyone?
