Professional Membership & Exemption Pathway
Institute of Certified Internal Auditors Pakistan (ICIAP)
The Institute of Certified Internal Auditors Pakistan (ICIAP) invites professional accountants, auditors, finance professionals, business graduates, and other qualified individuals with relevant professional experience to apply for membership through its Professional Membership & Exemption Pathway.
This pathway provides an opportunity for eligible professionals to have their existing qualifications, professional memberships, and relevant experience assessed for membership and applicable examination or module exemptions.
Who Can Apply?
Applications are welcome from the following professionals and qualification holders:
1. Members of Professional Bodies
• ICAP – Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan
• ICMAP – Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Pakistan
• ACCA – Association of Chartered Certified Accountants
• ACGA – Relevant members holding this professional designation
• PIPFA – Pakistan Institute of Public Finance Accountants
• Members of other recognised national and international professional bodies in accounting, auditing, finance, and related fields.
2. Business, Accounting & Management Graduates
• MBA – Master of Business Administration
• BBA – Bachelor of Business Administration
• M.Com – Master of Commerce
• B.Com – Bachelor of Commerce
• Other recognised qualifications in business administration, accounting, finance, commerce, management, and related disciplines.
3. Experienced Professionals
• Internal Auditors
• External Auditors
• Accountants and Finance Professionals
• Risk Management and Compliance Professionals
• Corporate Governance Professionals
• Other qualified business professionals with relevant internal audit, accounting, finance, risk management, or related experience.
Membership & Exemption Opportunities
Eligible applicants may be considered for the Institute’s professional membership pathway and exemptions from applicable examinations or modules, subject to an assessment of their qualifications, professional memberships, relevant experience, and the Institute’s applicable policies.
Candidates holding business or academic qualifications may also be considered where they possess relevant professional experience.
