Yousef Hasan Atalad, 4 year old from Maluso, Basilan, belong to the Neuro-Diverse Children, He has received an initial One on One type of intervention lasted within 6 months at the age of 2 years from private service provider in Zamboanga City. However, he is unable to continue because of some hindering factors faced by their parents and guardian. The lack of specialize service providers locally, facility centers and the financial capacity of parents to support the long terms needs of their children are the among the expressed challenges and gaps to address the needs of these children.

ENABLE-Bangsamoro project aims to empower parents, guardians and strengthening the capacity of the service provider, and advocates for the sustainable inclusive services and relevant policy support to the BARMM region. It is a year project-based activity being implemented this year with the financial fund of Australian Aid through the support of The Asia Foundation as one of the components of Project WEAVE among others being the peace dividen.

Increasing number of Children with Special Needs such as Autism, and others necessitates consistent and continuous services, facilities including access to inclusive financial funding dedicated to these vulnerable sector. Today, the Mindanao Organization for Social and Economic Progress, Inc. - MOSEP, in collaboration with the ICARE through ENABLE-Bangsamoro project supported by The Asia Foundation (TAF) and the Australian Aid (AusAid) is conducting community outreach to provide technical capacity to the SNED teachers, parents using Navigating Assessment Tools in the Island Province of Basilan specifically in the Municipality of Maluso.

ACCESS emergency response team deployed in Barangay Lasangan and Upper Lasangan of GSKP to distribute 107 sets of Household Shelters Kits and 107 sets of food items to the highly vulnerable household affected by the recent typhoon.

Simultanously, the some of MOSEP team also have augmentation deployment in the province of Masbate, Davao and Cebu for the quick relief assistance.
